thinks that good things should come in small packages, and the
GameCube, about the size of a squat lunch box, certainly proves
that point. Unlike the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox, which aspire
to be DVD players and living-room minicomputers, this is exclusively
a game machine--and a fun one at that, offering games suited to
a broad audience. The tough part is waiting for the hard-hitting
franchise titles that will make or break this system.

The Xbox is the most powerful game console ever. That's not to
say it's necessarily the best gaming console available; factors
other than raw power come into play when deciding which console

marked difference in the graphics quality and processing power
of this machine.

greater selection of quality games, though the gap is quickly
narrowing, particularly with the Xbox. On top of that, it doubles
as a DVD player right out of the box and offers online gaming
to both broadband and dial-up users via its Online Adaptor accessory.
So while it may not be the newest or the most powerful system,
it's certainly a safe bet

The release of NHL 2K2 marks the end of the Sega Dreamcast's remarkable
run. While production of the Dreamcast may be over, the legacy
lives on. Sega's discontinued Dreamcast and its 56kbps modem will
have the slowest connection on the block. You can still find Dreamcast
games online through Amazon.com and other authorized games stores....
